The new year has dawned and the residents of Russell are once again raising hell!! That is to say the usually quaint, charm
ing village in the Bay of Islands is bringing back to life the days when Kororareka was known as the “Hell Hole of the Pacific.”
Street theatr

Getting there: Car – Fullers Great Sights Ferry – boarding in Opua to Okiato then 9kms to Russell. Food: Three regular ferries per hour departing from Paihia to Russell.
